Meals for Squeals Program

Donate your leftovers to our pigs!

We’re excited to introduce Meals for Squeals, a community program that helps care for our rescued pigs while reducing food waste.

Through this program, friends of the farm can donate extra food from their fridge, pantry, or freezer — turning what might otherwise be thrown away into something that brings real joy to our sanctuary swine.

Participation is easy and flexible. There’s no long-term commitment — just sign up through our website to receive occasional emails with drop-off dates and instructions.

Meals for Squeals is a simple way to care for rescued animals, support sustainability, and be part of our farm community. Every donation helps make a rescue pig’s day a little brighter.

What pigs can enjoy:

Overripe fruits and vegetables, expired uncooked pasta, stale bread, stale chips, and similar items.

Please note: Fruit with pits are welcome only if the pits are removed. Pigs can eat the fruit but cannot eat the pits.

Please do not donate:

  • Chocolate

  • Onions

  • Eggplant

  • Raw potatoes

  • Anything containing xylitol (a common sugar replacement)

  • Mushrooms

  • All donation will be checked before feeding, but don’t hesitate to ask questions when you receive the drop-off instructions.

Sign-up Today!

We will send out regular updates for drop-off times for the pigs. There’s no long term obligation or commitment! Simply join us when you can or have food to share with our swine.
